The "Study implementation of GIS and data acquisition opportunities in foreign acquisitions CEZ - Bulgaria, Romania and Albania" project was launched in the second half of last year.

This project consisted of two parts: the first part involved mapping the current situation in the field of GIS in foreign acquisitions from the perspective of GIS applications, custom data sources, base maps of third parties and possibilities for integration with existing non-GIS systems (SAP, Readings).

Local investigations in the various acquisitions were conducted in the first part of the project with the aim of mapping the current status.

The second part focused on the basic design approach to deploying GIS solutions for each acquisition so that an overview of the distribution network could be created in the shortest possible time at minimum cost managed. The proposal included the future direction of GIS development in individual acquisitions.

The project was successfully completed and accepted in February of this year.
