Geographic Information Systems

As regards Geographic Information Services (GIS), we offer consulting services and implement systems based on the ArcGIS platform by Esri, alternatively also on ArcFM Solution (by Telvent) specifically designed for utilities. We have developed our own applications running on the said technologies. While implementing systems in utilities, we provide business process consulting services.

We also have experience with integration of GIS systems to other corporate systems. In order to achieve maximum level of interface standardisation, we have developed the Data Communication Server (DCS) product designed for large-scale integration of systems operated by large corporations involving exchange of extensive data volumes.

Our tools contribute to effective data quality management in corporate geodatabases. The application allowing for launching specialised analytical and editing tasks has been designed as a functional add-on to Esri ArcGIS Desktop product, and it comprises a set of tools for advanced editing of GIS geometrical data. The tools can be used for automated data editing in geodatabases based on input data stored e.g. in xml files. Another set of tools is used for error analyses and subsequent correction of data forming the geometrical grid in the database.

Our mobile solution allows for viewing, searching, localising, and also creating and editing data in the field. If data connection is available, the data may be synchronised with the central geodatabase immediately. The crucial characteristics of the mobile client include not only quick data retrieval and processing, but also simple and intuitive use of the device even in complicated situations in the field.

The current trend of transferring an increasing number of functionalities to web applications is also apparent in GIS. The GIS client developed by us is built on the Esri ArcGIS Server technology and utilises its services. The application features common map functions, allows for making queries, selections and localisation of components, and provides for advanced functions like tracing, data editing, dynamic tasks related to thematisation, etc.
